I have an ad at the bottom AND the top of the scorecard page. The one at the bottom covers the "continue" button. I have to right click on the ad & then click on the score card to make it disappear.

You have to click the "X" on the screen (Not your Browser obviously).  The ad cover ups my "Continue Button" also, but if you click the "X" above the scorecard it take you to the next hole, essentially acting as the "Continue" button.

yep..that's how to get rid of it...but, after more than 4 years of this type of "enhancement", every WGT update is like watching one of those adverts on t.v...If you have joint pain, take "Shizathol"..side affects may include....bleeding from the eyes, loss of bowel control, muscle fatigue, liver disease, enlarged heart, diminished sex drive, brittle bones, unwanted hair growth in the ears, and in some cases, death. Some people who took Shizathol also reported an uncontrolable desire to throw their mouse at the screen and an increase in VEM........your mileage may vary

With the "X" acting as the continue button it is fine unless you want to save a replay. Also, you do not get the option to "rematch" after the last hole.

I have experienced that some of the longer pre-game ads (20 / 30 secs) do not close by themselves. You can't ignore them by looking away but have to close them with their own X button on the low right side.

Perhaps they steal into your game, too?

I sat for a while staring at a finished Glenmorangie ad before I realised the box containing a link to buy the product online had an X in the corner.  Click there and the whole ad goes away.

The small scorecard doesn't bother me, it's still big enough to snip for posting purposes.  As Courteney says, next update it will probably be back to full size but upside down or mirrored.

    Single malt lover? Schleckermaul!

A wee dram or a big bottle will help to pass the time while waiting for any "next update" to better anything - wasted IMHO, but not the whisky :)

To that extent we all have passed Dante's hell's gate: "Abandon all hope, you who enter here."

But I think that's the lure..we get to the gate...read the sign, but forge ahead anyway...thinking....ahhh....there's still hope...lol   Perhaps we get to the gate, read the sign and then get a little bit more...pedestrian...... and go with..."WGT, the final frotier...to boldly go where no glitch has gone before...to seek out new bugs and new variations".....

    nah...you're right...Dante' gate.

Here's a nifty idea which someone mentioned a long time ago.    Why do you need the scorecard in between holes at all ?   You know the score . it's shown on every hole.   If you want to look you can do that from the menu on any screen.

Get rid of the scorecard in between screens and speed up the game  .. :)

    @Ducati:

Good picture, brave volunteers on virtual ground... Alas, it misses some things.

Take the expectations towards a company with a booming internet gaming site,

take the mods who professionally throw "hope" confetti to the patrons,

take the players who won't stop to hope for a positive turn.

You have to look very matter-of-factly to recognize the nature of this 6th circle. One indirect hint is in the FAQ, first lines: Premium service is in the forum, with priority over their help form. Q: Who does service in the forum?

    True despite the typo:

    Ducati916:
    Dante's gate.

Twas a light hearted jab with a Star Trek reference....

"hope confetti"...I like that....lol...  is it on the horizon in the pro shop?....50 credits a throw....you must announce that you are sprinkling hope confetti on your next shot.....no guarantees it will affect the outcome, but, you have a chance.  I think we need andyson to do an article on it for the next Enquirer.

LOL on the confetti sales - a sure buster to come!

At some time the overcritical forum people (don't you look at me!) will notice what a treasure was presented to them with these CS confettis...
