Not getting help with my problem

  I have looked for help with this issue and no one has replied. There was someone else with the same problem reported in October as STUCK ON PINEHURST but I could find no clear solution to the problem. I would like to play in multi-player games but can't get into the game. I posted the following below:

   

  Hi - I started playing WGT when it came out for the iPad. I recently tried to play from my laptop but ran into the same problem as described above re:Pinehurst. I read your instructions, made sure I was not logged into WGT on my iPad, went through all of the lessons, and tried to play Congressional in a practice round. Got the screen saying the game was being presented by Pinehurst yada yada yada, cancelled the CTTH game from the MENU at the top (did not see an "X" at the bottom of the screen as you said) and tried over with the same results. Before I re-boot and try again I wanted to get this email off to you. Can you give more advice or am I only allowed to play with myself on the iPad?

   

  I later went back and edited additional info which I could not find posted. But it said that I had re-booted and tried again getting to the same Pinehurst CTTH game. I saw the LESSONS tab on the left side of the screen. Clicked on it and found the lessons had check boxes next to them and they were all blank. So I went through the lessons again, getting the boxes checked after each lesson. When I finished I left the game via the MENU End Game optoion. Exited from WGT. Loaded back up and tried again. Same CTTH game comes up. Looked at the lessons to make sure they all still had checkmarks. Exited again. Rebooted the machine, back into WGT, PLAY NOW, same problem.

  Can someone please tell me what I am doing wrong so I can stop playing with myself and play with some other nice people?

  You're talking about playing on a windows laptop, do you?

  - you might see it more easily in "my discussions" ==>

  There is some advice included. In addition, be sure to deactivate any "clear cache on exit" setting - you need some flash memory for continuity.

  I checked with our mobile team and they asked me to ask you make sure you have latest mobile version since older ones had problems on that course with layers being stuck.

  The problem is not with my mobile version. That is the only place that I can play, but I can only play with myself at this time.

   

  The problem is when I try to play on my Windows laptops. I have 2 different platforms that I use, depending on my location, one being a Dell with Win95 and the other a Dell with Win7.

  I have the same problem on both. As stated before someone else had the same problem. Cannot get on to any course, any type of play. It always comes up with the Pinehurst CTTH #12 screen. When you complete the hole it goes to a dark grey screen and nothing else happens. You have to "X" out of the window. I tried to set up to play Congressional in practice mode, white tees and end up on the same Pinehurst hole.

  How else can I explain this problem? And how is it that I am the only one at the moment with this problem? Is it a settings issue? My IPad version works great.

  hi

  I would suggest clearing all cookies and temp files for that browser and flash and trying again. if that doesn't work, I would try other browsers and seeing how that will work for you.

  OK. I have cleared cookies and all history, several times. I have tried IE, Chrome, and Mozilla Firefox and have gotten the same results. I try to play a course and I am taken to the Pinehurst No. 8, 12th Hole, CTTH screen. I have tried to complete that hole and then get the grey/purple screen, "X" out of the screen and get back to the main screen. I exit the program and try again. No luck. Any more ideas or do I have to give up on WGT and playing with other golfers?

  try deleting flashplayer and java through uninstall clear all cookies  then reload them back on may,may not work on older laptop some versions of flash may not work also try a older version!!
