VEM on the putting green..has wgt ever officially confirmed or denied it??

  I really think the game would become very level and realistic on the leaderboards. The question is, how much is it worth to both sides?

   

  Thing is Jim (not familiar with Links) is I bet the average player putts out more per year, than buying a game and paying even a few bucks a month to play...I see so many profiles who buy a sleeve of balls daily and every other day...factor in equipment upgrades, I think WGT would be losing on the back end.

   

  Now, that said, I do see a market for "One club for all"/etc, for those who just play and enjoy it and who not concerned about teiring up, RG's MPC's, etc...just playing to get better and get on top of a leader board...like you mentioned, it'd have to be a separate format.

  Just as I'm getting to be good at this game (well that could be debatible too...lol),   people start to talk about changing it so it gets harder for us all to play.

  This is an Internet Game and no matter of what changes there is,  the game will always be pretty easy to play with heaps of practise.

  The game was pretty tough to play 3 years ago, when we had basic equipment.  As in real life we have new high tech Clubs and Balls to play with now... hence all the low scores (maybe other things too) ...  Remember real golf course were trying to make em Tiger Proof not so long ago because he was getting too good.

  The great thing about this game, unlike other games...  is you get to the Tee and hit the ball.... with a slight adjustment with Aim and Spin.....   Easy.     We don't have to do the Hokie Pokie like other games. ( that is move your left foot here and right arm there) and we should not have to be forced to play U/Lie games if we don't want to.

  Keep the game simple....   there is nothing wrong with the game,  unless you one of those elite players who ae bored at shooting the low 50's all the time, earning sqillions of credits(no offence to them) .

  I say.....   If you don't like the way the game is now....  QUIT.  or just relax and enjoy :)

  Edit ...   or the other option,  get rid of the Vem (as everybody calls it) and just be a free for all.  I don't mind that too.

  LOL   Roger      I say i like  ^^^^^ the edit idea.

  I say lets just throw down. So what if scores go lower. They would be true scores then.

  Yup plenty tied scores..... so what!  At least then, would be the true skill of the players.

  Just had a shot.... 195 to hole... 7 mph cross wind from right to left. Yup lined that sucker up... hit my 210 R11 full spinage..... figured ball was going to be a touch long... right where i wanted. Ding........

  Nope...... sucker goes 188 and lands in the bunker.....LMAO!  Yup.. that took some skill to hit that shot. How does that shite happen??  That ball should have been a good bit long.
