Hey Gerald, I don't think vem works at wgt,he started off in another thread as a joke. I'm pretty sure he hangs with the Opye crew.....

Yeah after that statement i don't think he does. Read my last lil bit^^^^^.

Because...... after what he just said.... be looking for new job.

    LOL

Either way..... no sweat mate.  I just don't find any of it funny at all.

Bad joke mate.  Like i said if 10 years old... maybe.....lol.

Then again...... if he keeps stating those facts.... might get himself a quick ban.

I'm sure WGT liked that statement. LMAO!

Then doesn't work for WGT.... and has not played a round yet. Nope spent zero moneys here. Yup if he keeps spilling crap like that...hmm... might be a early exit.

Now that would be a very funny joke there.   ;)

No, VEM is a crucial system within WGT. I can understand the confusion surrounding this subject, so I sat down with the CEO (and owner of the patent) and he helped me decipher the legalese so that I may share it with you.

Essentially, the patent is for legal protection. It does give us the right to change the properties of clubs and balls, which we do often, but mainly it is for protecting the legal side of WGT. Whenever we exercise our right to change clubs and/or balls given to us by this patent, we do so unilaterally, and we tell the community about it. The only reasons we would do this is for balancing or bug correcting purposes.

Now, back to the question that keeps coming up "Does WGT have the capability to manipulate individual player's equipment?" The answer is yes, we have thecapability to do nearly anything to anyone, any course, any time, anywhere. The next question you should ask is "Does the video game I play operate in such an underhanded way that they would practice this capability?"

r11's seem off last 2 day,new nike irons??

I have never seen an official confirmation or denial of this by any wgt moderator.

Read this then...  WGTPizza: "VEM is a crucial system within WGT."

    another interesting admission there:

I will say that I can map my 9 iron at 130/1 yards FBS til I am blue in the face at Beth 10, low 2MPH cross wind.  Now go elsewhere and 133 yards same shot to the eye.  At Oly today (in a RG so...) I let the spin of a tiny tad and watched the ball fly nearly 138 yards (that's farther than I would get at Beth 10).  Well that's too much for my putting to reliably cope with at a place like Oly for bird chance anyway.

I don't know how many notes some have, but mine are woefully inadequate I will say that. The extreme at Oly I put down as a my turn for the WTF, but if ball / club properties were being changed on this basis that's sad.  Some holes do just play differently, and fair enough, and my notes per hole need to improve in striving to get better.  Too much fiddling the other end would will kill the fun altogether though IMO.  My tuppence worth.

Yes Jim..... that is why mapping club distances is useless mate. I find also the club distances change from day to day.

I take zero notes and do not play with putter pal or shot pal. Same thing happens on greens. Changing green speed from hole to hole mate. That is how they get you with the putts coming up short.

I just hit and hope to be within 20 feet of hole,,, so i can ram a putt on a champ green...lol.

I have not seen a champ green in a longtime really. I can't remember last time i putted on a true champ green. Just won the Oly. front nine ready go on champ greens,, sorry but those greens are not even close to champ speed.... maybe very fast at best. I even wonder if we still have champ greens here,,, they might have messed that up a few down times ago i think.

The game is more luck now than ever. The reason i will not be spending $40 for a new iron set anytime soon. Played a few Alt. shot matches with players that have the new Nike irons........ i don't see anything that is making me jump and buy them. They didn't hit any better shots than my R11s did.

I will wait...... and wait. Never bought the high level putter.... but yet my putting stats keep getting better and better... lol.

Bottom line once you have learned to play this game at a decent level.... taking notes is useless,, because they are messing with your shots way to much for you to look at notes taken from the past. Same with mulligans,,, mulligan for what?? As soon as you have a shot you practiced with mulligan... i can assure you result will not be the same.

Notebook....lol.... another money grab. Like TBE said... soon be charging for pencils.

    ;)

FFS, man, you trying to put CIB out of business? You obviously adjusted so what's the friggin problem? You had to think, or something? That is just plain miserable BS complaining for the sake of complaining.

Pardon my sincere lack of sympathy.
