l wasn't the first to post.

l wanted to get to 97 and agree, a multi accounters wet dream indeed!

On a lighter note, it was the lie in the rough i had, just couldn't shift the ball.

I'd say posting that pic pretty well assures us that hole will be closed as fast as they can shut down for maintenance...lol...Oh well, fun while it lasted....way to go!

I believe that clubs should be tier specific and this would instantly negate the use of such practices or the use of boosts.

the way it was & the way it should be.........it is the difference between this game being 'good' & 'great'....

The trouble is, everytime someone finds a glitch in the game they come here and post how to do it. Instead of reporting it to wgt like you should do. Before we know it we have level 97 hacks shooting 25's all over the place. You're telling the cheaters how to cheat and thats just as bad as being a cheater in my book.

    Hi DAZZA,

I understand you are probably using hyperbole when you say

    (emphasis added)

However, I wanted to sincerely respectfully say that I'm not included in that "every time" as I already stated in paragraph 9 of my first post on page 6 of this thread.

Back in the first week of September 2013 when I first discovered this method by accident on the last hole of a Best of Par 3 practice game, I reported this to a WGT representative and told absolutely no one.

If I recall correctly, I was trying to get my level up on the exact XP required and I was taking mulligans.  To my shock and dismay, I leveled up to level 79 way sooner than I expected.

I played another round to find out what was going on and to see if this was as a result of the late August maintenance and product release and to see if I could replicate it.  Once I figured out what was causing it, I ceased using it and reported it immediately. I played my games as if it didn't exist, except for when I purposefully chose to avoid mulligans and extra shots on the last holes of my practice rounds for Tough-It-Out III—a choice that proved to be distracting and restricting.

I presumed it would be fixed a short time after I reported it, or at latest, during that month's maintenance and product release on September 25, 2013.  It was not fixed, as I again found out by accident when playing another practice game in the first week  [EDIT@7:35AM PST: early partof October.

I sent WGT another notification about this issue on October 11th, 2013. I gave a more detailed explanation of how it is done and the possibility of gaining millions of XP points per round.  I don't remember trying the use of mulligans but I at least assumed it was possible as I just reread my October report to WGT and I mentioned the possibility of the mulligan feature being used for gaining enormous amounts of XP in one round.

I strongly considered using this method to gain TONS of XP points, but again, I refrained because I did not want to offend others who gained their XP without this glitch (reasons I stated in paragraph 2 of my 1st post on page 6) and told no one.

I do not remember the exploit clause in the WGT Terms and Conditions (Ts & Cs) at the time I first reported this to WGT.  I am 99% sure it was in the Ts & Cs back in September, I guess I just didn't take the time to search for a clause about exploits as I did on Sunday this week.  (See Terms & Conditions, press [Ctrl] + [F], then type in "exploit" and press enter 3 times to see it)

At the time of discovering this method, I don't remember even thinking that the use of this method might be considered as a violation of the Ts & Cs as a reason not to use it and tell others.  I mainly considered the possibility of enormous misuse/abuse if knowledge of this method was prevalent and the very likely subsequent outrage by people I respect.

+1..   yup that would take care of that situation quickly. But...... then WGT would lose all that money off players playing to level up the honest way and burn up all those golf balls.

Bottom line clubs are level specific because of greed.

Now then...... can WGT do anything to stop this?  Hmm..... i would say no! Can't fix a bug... and going to deal with that?? No decent programmers,,, this will not be fixed. They must be dying over there......lol.

When you do something out of greed and something bad happens..... i don't feel sorry at all for them.

Think of all the money they are going to lose now for golf balls leveling up. And.... all the money lost off buying clubs at lower levels. And....... hmm... no need for boostage or candy bars....lmao!

Way i see it.....serves them right!   Greed is a bittch.....lol.

Clear your cache.  I played both the 9 and 18 hole without any issues.

I can't disagree Gerald, and this is why WGT went away from tier specific clubs - as it  maximizes  sales. As a business it makes sense but as people effectively gamble by playing for credits (often paid by real $$$$) then WGT have not only a moral obligation, but a legal obligation to ensure it is "fair and equitable" (and as we know it is not lol with wind, VEM etc).

It will be fixed if they are losing money, but agree it may not be within the capabilities of the programmers, but what the heck they will gve it a shot (at the expense of who knows what lol)
