Wow those greens in round 2 are slow. I managed to work out a formula but i'm not telling the rest of you...lol

Loving this tournament. The scores are more true to life and it actually feels great to get a birdie.

Super round Dazz!!!. I got killed so I won't go into that but I also worked out the green speed once it was too late to put up a decent score. I ain't telling either. Take your lumps folks!!!   ;)

Drove into the trees off the 16th tee and had a double bogey, could not believe it after managing scramble my way round. Such a stupid mistake.

Took a few holes to get the green speed down. Ain't giving the formula out either. lol You have to hit the center of the cup because that ball is flying. It stops real sudden like also so don't try and be exact on distances. But it was fun and a good challenge.

I don't play the uneven lies because where you have to aim and how much distance you loose is just way too extreme and makes no sense at all to the game of golf. Seems like those extremes could be tweaked down a whole bunch. Has anyone ever told WGT that? WGT could take a lesson from the LInks game. They are pretty spot on, on how much the ball deviates because of the lie. I had a big side hill lie in the bunker and had to aim about 30 yards to the side. That's just ridiculous.

Can't this tourney be linked in with the other weekly tourneys?

More people will see it and take part.

I was thinking the same thing or try changing the title of the thread to attract more folks. Maybe even sending out a mass e mail to all members to get eye balls on this thread.

Agreed.  I had no idea this tourney was going on!

Wow, that was hard! But a lot of fun, nonetheless. It really seemed like some idiot left the sprinklers on overnight (on full power!).

My game wasn't quite there at first, too many poor approaches on the front 9, and very difficult to get a handle on the putting speed on the front 9. Even once you get an idea of the different speeds, you need figure out how much (or little) break to anticipate. Quite the test!

I was +3 for first 6. But back 9 was nice, 5 birdies, and I could have had 3 more (missing 12-13 footers on #10, #16, #17). So, a 68 for me. I'm seriously impressed by the 62s and 63s that have been posted, and our leader clearly knows his unevens play too!

This is a great tourney! Thank you so much Icon and Shoe.

Not sure if I'll be able to play next round but best of luck to all for the rest of it, and kudos to everyone that's been brave enough to be a part of this!

    Hello all,

I want to thank Icon and Mr Shoe for this tournament, a wonderful idea. Hope to have more in the future.

I have one question: the green speed in round 3 will be like in the 1st round and round 4 like round 2? Or you will make it even worse

    Alex
