I was a pro who got bumped to master but I was ready for it. My avg was around 67 and was 100% honest so I was actually looking forward to becoming a master. I think these unexpected promotions are really going to hit the cherry pickers the hardest. From what I understand, WGT used your entire score history to decided your tier. If you only kept your good games and quit the bad games you were probably advanced farther than you should have been. (honesty is the best policy). It seems to me the problem isn't with the tiers but with the levels. I've had to switch to balls with the farthest distance just to play and by my calculations, it will take months before I can buy a master driver.
Someone suggested that WGT have a special sale for a few days so that new masters can buy the equipment we need. Seems to me that would make sense. WGT could make some money and we could get some decent clubs. Win win.
