alberich35:
@alosso i read. But i am not talking about the theory of the shorstest distance between point A and point B.
Neither do I. What I say applies to BPB #1, too, only there the shot length is the beeline over the debris.
alberich35: Just sometimes tee to hole announced distance is wrong, tested & verified on this hole.
At STA#10 and others, there are two pins with different distances from the tee. As I said before, the scorecard (= top right corner of the game window) invariably shows the distance to one fixed pin. If the other is active, there will be a discrepancy. Try and move the marker to the area of the invisible pin.
And, no matter how loud you call it "wrong", it won't be changed IMNSHO. We are supposed to memorize these spots.
alberich35: Others times same distance is in feet, so you have to calculate for adjust shot. (and us in Europe dont know how many feet in a yard and nothing about others US standards, have to google each time)
I struggled frequently with the conversion, too, once made me a spreadsheet to calculate shot lengths of elevated putts.
The math is unfamiliar to us but not too difficult, 12 inches = 1 foot, 3 feet = 1 yard.
Alas, I still don't know about which situation you are talking. Putts are in feet, other shots are in yards, and on the fringe or green, the display changes accordingly. Any example? Replay available?
