On the 11th 12th Day of Christmas...

  The reason this one died is because the folks that have Day 12 posted a day earlier than they should have, thereby cutting down on the number of responses we should have received. In short, Day 12 posted on Day 11. This thread died the second Day 12 was posted. It's that simple.

  I think some people just don't understand the concept of the twelve days of x-mas. You can't have two days taking place at the same time. This event is not meant to be a shopping excursion for players, that's why we have one day at a time. If they see something they really want then they better ask for it. If something better comes along the next day.....too bad, you already received a gift, now step aside and let someone else have a chance to win something.

  Oh well, just one more thing to add to my list of "Should I/ Shouldn't I ever hold another one of these events again".

  So, to all The Misfit Toys, here is my back-up plan-

  I'm not traveling on Christmas day, so I'll hold a special event on Christmas and see if I can give the rest of these drivers away. If I can give them away I'll still send you a PM and let you know who to send your gift to. There is no rush on your part. Enjoy your holiday and when you get back onto WGT check your messages, if you have one from me asking you to send out a gift, just do it when you have the time.

  MC , the day 12 folks posted day 12 at approx 1 am UK time on the 24 th of December.

  It as got to be taking into consideration surely the folks in our cc who are British will then have to remain up till well into the UK Xmas Day, even more so now it was re released 8 hrs later, so 24hrs for us now goes to approx 9 am Xmas Morning.

  It was never our cc's intention to de rail any ongoing days if we did so,  and I personally offer an apology though I think consideration should be given on our part also....

  Does this mean we can buy ourselves a nice gift ?  LOL,  I could use an upgrade anyway to replace my old level11 R1 i'm still using :) .    Everyone have a very Merry Christmas and see youy back here soon.

  This old Santa just got up ,   i have reed the last few entree ,, first   this is the best thing that happened this year on WGT, secound nothing is perfect ,and like anything else this great gifting drive will only get better ,   maybee next time we will give  teams from europe the first  or secound day because of the time difference , Finaly  i been verry proud to be part of this no matter what happened , MC Wayne you have done  more then needed ,and for that i raise my hat to you ,in my book this has been a succes , and it only can get better in the future .     This Santa  still has a gift to  send  and i will be waiting  for a PM from MC.....          Has for day 12  have fun  guys i did for 11 days .......         thats what importent here .    Francois (Frapp)

  Totally agree. Very well said. Plus, I would imagine any new people to the forums are under the moderation thing (I was moderated for about a month), which, if the moderators are off, will further delay our gifting. It's all good, though, as they too should enjoy this time of year with their families. MC, just sit back, relax and enjoy yourself...you've definitely earned it. And, I too will be awaiting your message. Merry Christmas

  First  there whas,nt that much negativity ,,,,,      we knew  that some Members would use this to  ask   and ask some more ,  even tho they did not qualified any more ,,,,,   also  new commers  are moderated   ,,,,,,,,            nothing died on its  ass  ,  there are many days left to   ask for gift ,,,,,                in  my book  this  Thread  and  this gifting Drive  all  worked and done with a generous heart,  was and is a success ,  All here should RE Thank  MC Wayne  for having so many good Santa  to  involved themself in this great  gifting spree .    I hope next year   this will happen again  .  Now day 12 and the last one is on  ,,,,,      many are gone to see family  , many have peoples over for  Christmas ,    lets  give a chance   to members  .... to read   what is offered by  members of CC .....                 And i  must say    i feel privilage   to have been part  of this great  gifting drive  , that would probebly not exist   if it whas,nt  for Wayne MC .......                          Happy holday  all
