Just playing an A/S game and a message flashed up to say 'Match Ended' and that 'I forfeited the game' which was news to me...it was my partner's shot and I never attempted to forfeit the game?

Bugs and unintentional disconnections notwithstanding, your partner's forfeit would be counted against you, too - you were a team.
I know the strange thing is neither of us disconnected or forfeited or had any intention of doing so and a message came up telling me I'd forfeited. Very strange.
Yes i noticed it also, it used my name to forfeit.......
there are at least 2 people that know how to do that and use someone elses name

I'm more inclined to believe it was a WGT glitch or bug than either of my AS opponents deliberately causing it. While that's not outside the realms of possibility it does sound less likely.
