Can someone please answer this question.  Why does my game experience change so much while playing RG's?  I had 4 consecutive non RG tournaments where pretty much made every putt I looked at...so, once again I considered entering an RG, and low and behold. BAM! got WGT'ed once again! WTF!!  Every putt I usually make lips out or comes up short.  MY *** meter goes *** crazy...locks up. I couldn't even make one birdy on the front nine of on 18 hole best of par 3 hole RG. Holes I usually do.  What is going on?  Can I have someone explain this to me, and not some wise ass crack please!  It is so frustrating. I have been using the same formulas that I have improved upon over the years that work 98% of the time on non RG's, but are so inconsistent in RG's.  I understand there are occasionally the WTF kind of shots but come on, it seems like I am *** get them on every single RG!  I am going to play a practice round for the best of par 3's and see what happens. I guarantee nothing I have just experienced.

    UGGG!!!

This sounds familiar.  LOL to every one else who understand.

Ready Go's are a lot to do with the type of round you get from WGT.  You will either be "allowed" to score well or you will  get a tough deviation effected round.  No 2 rounds will be the same, especially ready go's.  If you enter a ready go today and struggle due to strange shots i guarantee you might enter the same ready go tomorrow and although you might play badly you might post a very decent score.  Ready go's seem to be manipulated to give every one a chance to win.  i.e If you win a tournament today you will no way be allowed to win the same tournament tomorrow.  But believe me, Its the same for us all.  SOme ready go's are set up to be tough, others are set up to be easy.  Its what keeps us coming back for more.  Hang In there, It will get better.

i feel your pain, i think we all pretty much get the same thing, its just something we have to accept, sometimes in rg's it's your turn and sometimes it's not

Other than CTTH's I rarely play any tourneys, usually play RR or AS or match play. The other day I entered Week 1 STA front nine. Normally I can play that nine under par, as I am not a great player. Except when I am tired and have trouble concentrating. Anyway I played early in the day and was wide awake, had 1 birdie and 3 bogeys - 2 over.

I  immediately played a RR non-tourney same course same holes, 1 bogey 7 birdies, I ask, how is that possible?

Explain how I could win a RG at Merion and then in the exact same tourney the next time shoot a 59 (only good enough for second place that time). Have had many good performances in RGs after winning one

Also, one would need to explain how people can CONSISTENTLY place high in RGs and build up tens of thousands or hundreds of thousands of credits

Oh, you must be a special player then Derek and an exception to the rule!, so amazing of you to be able to score well in 2 ready go's in a row.

I won 2 ready go's this week and next time i entered same ready go's I had to WD or got WTF round.  Only once or twice in the whole time I've played ready go's have i won tournament and then come in top 3 next time i enter.  A much higher % will score averagely.  Spend a few minutes going through leaderboards if you want. I'm not stopping you

Only a few players in this game can consistantly score low in every ready go, but you only have to look at ready go tournament list to see how many players might win one ready go only to WD or to score averagely next time they play same one.  Players win thousands of credits because these selct few enter EVERY ready go under the sun and just acumulate credits that way.  And one or two have even won a big prize to add even more credits to their name

Yup the game is ran by wgt like chris claims but funny i see the same names at the top. I also had to honor to play him also and beat him twice in a row but that impossible cause nobody is that lucky as he says. But when you pitch a shot where it calls for a flop and so on then you cant expect to win all the time and im sry chris but you hit the wrong shots a good amount of the time and your chart is totally wrong. If i were to play by those numbers every game then i wouldnt expect to win. Plain and Simple dont speak for others just cause you cant hang.

So i dont know how many credits you have but ill play you on 30 sec timer all day and win all day so when i wipe you out dry maybe you will stop playing the game which would save all of your post that are the same over and over again.
