SOLID BLACK BOX IN MIDDLE OF SCREEN

  I too have been having the same problem with the black box appearing.  It's not always a black square, . . sometimes it's a black rectangle.  It depends on the add.  There is no way to tell WGT which add it is, because it's just a blacked out area where the add was suppose to be.

  What I'm finding is if the add does not completely configure on your monitor, then the black box will appear in it's place.  Seems to me this all started when WGT changed the add format when showing the score card.  The score card got smaller with adds on top of card and below it.  When one of those does not configure on your screen, then when you go to next hole, you're left with this black rectangle.

  Could not play AS game, because of this bug yesterday.  Tried closing out and coming back, but could not get rid of the black space.  So I had other golfers telling me to change my browser which is total BS, and does not solve the bug.

  Today while playing in CC tourney the black box started again on the back nine of an 18 hole round.  Had to close out numerous times to get the game completed. 

  Next time it happens I will try some of the fixes that others have said might work, but I will not change browsers, because that's not the problem.

  I have the same problem and it only happens on IE browser....Also another issue with IE is that the "play now" button on the home page never appears.  I guess I will have to change browsers....the only browser that doesn't seem to have any issues is Safari. 

  Seriously should fix the IE problems.

  Well,  I won't argue with you about IE, however my "play now" button is always on my home page, and never has been an issue.  If IE was the problem, I would change it, but I played this game with IE for 10 months without issues of any kind, and then all of a sudden this happens.  Again for me at least, it never happened until wgt changed the adds at the score card between holes.  Coincidence?  Perhaps. 

  However,  I followed the advise of another golfer, and sure enough, if the black box appears all I have to do is go to menu, click score card then close out score card, and I'm back in business.  Go figure.

  Sometimes though at the first hole, the menu button does not show up, and if that happens,  then I right click on the box, then just undo the click and that gets me going again sometimes.  A computer guru I'm not.

  This is getting to be a real annoyance! I am having to exit out and go back in 6-7 times a game. Please fix this ASAP!! Here is a screenshot of one of the boxes...the other one is the long rectangular one.

  I don't remember who said it. But from the menu click on scorecard to reload the scorecard and load a new ad. Usually just 1 load gets rid of the black box.

  But to get rid of it permanently just install the adblock plus extension and you won't have to worry about ad related errors again.

  Thanks. I have adblock on my other browsers, but I am using Maxthon to play on and I can't figure out how to install adblock plus on it. I will get it figured though. Only seems to do it in single shot tournament rounds....never in practice or regular ranked rounds for me.

  For how to  get an ad blocker with Maxthon, ask courteneyfish. I know she uses Maxthon and I feel certain she has or at least knows how to get an ad blocker on Maxthon.

  If you click on "full screen" the black box dissapears. After a while you can go back out of 'full screen' & the black box will be gone!

  I use Commodo and have the same thing non stop, sent it to WGT last night. This is a total pain in the ass and obviously not my problem. Too many issues anymore to really enjoy playing. Time to fix it or forget it.

  Just click on the "box" then move your cursor to the left or right side of the screen and click again. Works for me. It seems to happen most when you don't give the ad on the scorecard time to load.
