    SweetiePie:
I wish you could see his famous "dagger" photograph...

I know a cue when I see one SP....... ;o)

A reflection off the arm of the chair gives the impression of the dagger.

The ride was from Charleston to Lexington, Mass. It was a great duty of importance. His name was Paul Revere.

First off, I want to point out that the following is more "historical" than "religious" in nature.  There is not one truly educated historian that will argue the fact that a Jewish man named Jesus was not crucified the day prior to high Sabbath (Passover).  The argument, however is when.

I wrote a college paper trying to pinpoint the "precise day" of Jesus's crucifixion.  It is argued that he was crucified between 28 CE and 35 CE and would have occurred the day before "high Sabbath", or Passover.  In 30 CE, the day/date before the first day of Passover would have been Wednesday, 5 April.  (date taken from the Passover Days 28 - 35 CE, which constructed the calendars based on the Astronomical Applications Department, United States of America Naval Observatory).  Please note that the Jewish calendar is Lunar, so constructing the days of Passover during the time frame in question is extremely accurate.

While many celebrate Good Friday as the day of Jesus's crusifixion, it's truly unknown the precise year or day.

    20 April,

    Tributes:

    1. R & B singer Luther Vandross (1951 - 2005) ... it's sad he's no longer with us.  What a great voice!  During his life, Luther sold over 25 million records and received 8 grammy awards.
    2. I normally don't pay tribute to actors, but being a trekkie, I've got to give it up to George Takei (played Sulu in the original Star Trek).

    Actors/Actresses:

    • Shemar Moore is 44
    • Carmen Electra is 42
    • Jessica Lange is 65
    • Joey Lawrence is 38
    • Andy Serkis is 50
    • Crispin Glover is 50
    • Clint Howard is 55
    • Ryan O'Neal is 73
    • Bruce Cabot (1904 - 1972)

    Tribute videos:

    First off, Luther Vandross ...

and no Easter would be complete without an Easter dinner.  A bit of fair warning ... this isn't a dinner I would recommend.  If you're even the slightest bit squeamish, beware.  George Takei eats some odd things on the British show, "I'm a Celebrity".  Now this takes guts!  Literally ...

    Have a wonderful Easter everyone!
