Of Late I have been winning a few games with players above my level but my Scoring average of 64 remains the same and I have not seen promotion as I earlier used to...

This is very sloppy response from WGT. I just won a 9 hole game with 23 shots against a guy higher than my tier, my average remains solid at 64. Well its been the same for a long time even after me winning 9 holed games with around 23-30 shots.

If the admins are choosing to ignore this problem then its a pity I spent a lot of money on this game.

The officials won't verify your average because they never give information on it.

    I can tell you:

Your average is 3.8 strokes better than it should be from strokeplay. Thus there is a good influence of other games like Match Play.

In December and January, your had two to three rounds each month which may have counted to the average - not much movement to expect.

Since no external knows the exact formula, I can't tell why three wins against TMs and a L would not count.

Only one of your last eleven games has been stroke-play. Blitz will not alter your average.

Can you please elaborate on the same. I have been playing atleast 4-5 matchplay games a day and winning atleast 3 of them. I hardly a game or 2 in Blitz and I am aware that Blitz does not cater to the average. My query is the number of matchplay games everyday and my wins in these not helping my average. Please check my recent activity for matchplay games a day. Thanks

Now my confusion here is if it is StrokePlay or MatchPlay that contributes to the overall average and promotion. So far, I have been achieving my current stats with most MatchPlay games won against players of a higher tier. Please clear my confusion here. Thanks.

    Both.

From the beginning, it has been stroke play - calculate an average of a fixed number of best scores in one tier. The calculus has not been published AFAIK but it is well-known to the last digit.

In 2012, they added influence of matchplay wins against higher tiers and credit wins. I have not yet seen a transparent information on this part.

If you play stroke-play ( Not practice) and score below your average, then that average will go down. Honest.

This may already be obvious to you - but everyone is telling you to play RANKED, STROKE games (not matches) to decrease your average.
