Three days ago not a single issue running the game on Chrome.  Yesterday I got a repeated popup telling me both WGT pages had become unresponsive and to either kill or wait.  After killing the pages several time and following the prompts for "repeated messages" I'm at a loss.
I can still play as long as I just ignore the unresponsive message but meter is complete garbage 95% of the time and of course the popup is annoying.

    Any ideas?

A Flash update for Chrome has been reported here, apparently provoking some problems.

Some blind tipps (I'm not into Chrome):

    - clear Flash cache,

    - make sure no Pepperflash is active,

    - revert to a former Flash version (clear Flash cache again), and disable Flash updates.

The latter has been said to solve the problems.

Better yet (and this solved my problem with radical malfunctioning), uninstall Chrome, go to FileHippo.com and get an earlier version of Chrome. After doing this, my meter is as smooth as a baby's butt again. And to answer that canard about Pepperflash, it's never been the problem. Google just updated everyone's Chrome to the newest version and it stinks. Find a version in the 31.0.1600 range and you're good to go. FileHippo also has a green check rating with McAfee's Site Advisor, so you can be assured it's a safe site to download and install software from.

Yep that's it.  After messing around I found I could have them open but not up on desktop and never got the message.  As soon as I pull up the window to actually try and play, I get that one about every 1-2 minutes.

Tried the fixes on this post. Nothing worked.  Uninstalling java and chrome and re-installing has worked- so far.  Update- worked for a couple hours then back to unresponsive message
