I'm sure me writing this post will come across as sour grapes but I assure you it is not. I'm sure others have had a totally different experience at cheers than mine and have been there for some time. Here is my brief experience at this cc.

So I was looking for a country club and decided on Cheers, seemed like a good fit.

Dec 10, 2013 joined the club. Got a welcome message from the cc owner welcoming me to the club and that we’ll hook up for a game real soon. “Looking forward to getting a round in with you soon” A month later and he has yet to invite me to a game but is on almost daily.

Dec 20, 2013 – Gave him an idea for a tournament, his response “sounds like a lot of work”.

Dec 26, 2013 – During my first tournament I was head to head with another player in a one and done semi-final. Posted on the thread before my game and posted my score afterwards thinking a little chatter would be fun. The response from the cc owner “Please...that thread is long enough as it is......we are in the 5th round......no scores have been posted. It listed under the tournament.” and then my posts were deleted.

Jan 7, 2014 – Offered to run an alt shot tournament and once I got it ready to go I get this message from the owner “Just letting you know....this is going to be taking up a lot of space on the Forum and..... But as I see threads finish..... I am letting you know I will be deleting them so that other messages that I feel are important to the Club are not pushed back to pages 5 and 6. Meanwhile there are topics still on page 1 dating back to June.

Jan 13, 2014 – In the middle of the alt-shot tournament I was running, I had one member who refused to communicate with his 4-some which led to a lot of frustration with his teammate and opponents who were trying to find a convenient time to play the round. I disqualified him and mentioned his lack of communication in a forum post. The post was edited by the owner and I was told I shouldn’t be calling him out. I disagreed saying the others needed to know that he was uncooperative in case they tried organizing something and he was part of it. His response "Not sure who you think you are talking to.....but this is a Club I started and I have had excellent results. I don't need you insulting me Sir."

Jan 15, 2014 – Long story short, I got another message from the owner telling me that the above mentioned player had quit the club, the owner blamed me I sent a response back to him ending with"The fact that I disagree with what you messaged me amounts to an insult? I have reread my message to you and fail to see how I insulted you in any way. If I have please enlighten me."

Conversation ends with his response "Think its time for us to go our own ways......and time for you to find another club. I am not going to get into a pissing contest with you or anyone else." and I was removed from the cc.

The reason I’m posting in this forum is because I no longer have access to the cheers cc forum and I met some wonderful players in that club that I hope to keep on my friends list and they can hear my side of the story instead of just the owners side.

Also if anyone else is looking at joining a cc  reads this thread they will have some insight into this cc albeit from my point of view.

Apart from my issues with the owner yes it was.

Played a lot more alt-shot games with club members knowing one of the other three wouldn't be quitting after a bad shot.

Added a few names to my friends list which will stay regardless of cc.
