Page not answering

  Problem in Google Chrome

  When playing an error occurs in Chrome saying that the page is not answering. If I click Wait I can play on without problems.

  The problems started this weekend. And the golf meter seems a bit "nervous"... Anyone whos is experiencing same issue?

  hi

  I think it has to do with pepperflash and chrome. best to disable it for now.

  Chrome updated last week, I believe everyone has/had the "OH SNAP" pop up and other problems. I went to the good old Explorer that comes with every computer that has Windows just to play WGT, and it works fine. I can now even use my space bar in the "chat" for the first time.  Explorer can be found by clicking the windows button lower left on your screen. (you never know) I use Chrome for everything else....

  There are dozens of browsers out there, one will suit your PC just fine.

  Hi, join the club. had plenty of problems and found a couple that might help. Try using the incognito function to play a round, failing that go into your control panel and find and delete flash player plug in. I have even gone back to using IE but find that its slow and the meter is a bit shaky but anything is better than chrome at the moment.

  Thanx guys. I prefer Chrome but I tested with Firefox. No problems. So Firefox will be my golf browser the coming weeks until Chrome is back at the top!

  i had same probs for 3 days.gave up went to comodo dragon. space bar fixed, good meter,alls well so far. recommend!

  I have had problems with "page not answering" and a "nervous" meter. 

  I then installed Firefox - it did not help with the "nervous" meter. Then I tried to play with Explorer. Then I had no problems with "page not answering" but still have the "nervous" meter. 

  Some players in the Forum thought it was the Flash Player 12.0 that was the problem. Then I uninstalled that - that did not help either.

  Do anyone have any ideas to, what can be done. It is rather difficult to play with a really nervous meter.

  What version of flash are you guys using?

  I had the same problem starting a few days ago and have tried 3 or 4 browsers, installing older versions of flash, and the meter is still way jumpier than it was before the problem happened. Really annoying.
