    Hi

I've posted before about playing WGT using Chrome and having an issue with the game. I can only log on to the game if Pepper Flash is enabled. My swing bar is very erratic.

Can anybody tell me the correct way to use another browser so I'm not using Pepper Flash? I understand Pepper Flash is part of Chrome browser.

If I was to use Fire Fox would I have to make it my only browser?

On this PC I've done all the steps to clean the game (cache, cookies, history ect.) Checked for malware (none).

I've used 2 Dell laptops using XP and Chrome with no problems.

I'm using on this PC Vista 32 bit.

    Thanks

You can have more than one browser. It's a good idea to keep one just for this game if you can. I use IE but keep Maxthon 3 for the game.

Different PC, different program versions installed?

There has not been any mentioning of Vista recently.

You might try to install the Flash player, current version, from Adobe's homepage. Then you'd see two Flash instances in Chrome and disable the Pepper Flash.

(Don't know how to update Chrome's Flash)

More than one browser should be possible, alas not two on WGT (I suppose).

Firefox (my browser) uses the general Flash. Only real downside is that it crashes every other day. Restart Flash, works again. It might be annoying in multiplayer games though.

I have removed/installed latest Flash and have 2 files in my plug ins. No help.

Again I say, have used 2 other laptops/PC and have disabled Pepper Flash and played the game with no problems.

That's why I think this PC that I'm on right now could have a deeper problem with Flash player than the other units.

Most time WGT have a "deep probleme" with flash player.

But they are not interested to fix this blemish

Good advice this.  I use Firefox for all my other internet stuff but also have Maxthon purely for playing.  The home page is the game client, click and go golfing.

One other tip, when you're playing don't have other WGT pages open, only the window you're actually playing in.

I must be doing something wrong. I've had Fire Fox as another browser but still I can't log on with the game with out going to Crome plug ins and making sure Pepper Flash was active.

Do you have Real Player installed on your Vista machine?

No I don't.  What advantage do I get with having it installed?
