I guess you guys are blind or can't read. You can only fix it by not using Vista. or get lucky with a vista with super powers

Thanks for the insult Tommy. Maybe you are the one who cannot read as TopFlite has stated in this thread that it did work previously but now it does not.

Geez, someone sure has a high opinion of himself doesn't he?

You really put us in our place didn't you?

Some people around here, Scott for example, are actually trying to offer real help.  Idiotic comments don't really offer very much.  Do they?

Thank you MainzMan . Scott is trying his best to try and solve my problem.

I would like also to thank all the rest that given positive suggestions into this quagmire.

OK back to the future again

I just downloaded FF and again can't log onto WGT.  On the log on screen where you would enter your player name and password is just a white(blank) box.

I looked in plugins on FF and Shockwave is active.

I keep thinking there is something in my PC that is stopping me from logging on.

FF doesn't use pepper, but it's doing the same as Chrome when pepper is not active.

I just thought of something. I haven't installed the correct Flash Player for FF.

    Going to try that now.

    I'm writing this from FF

Even thought I was informed by the browser I had the correct version of Flash for FF  I downloaded it again anyway.

No problem logging on and swing bar is very smooth.

Looks like right now it takes a little longer to wait for for the log on screen to appear than Chrome.

Going to log off PC and see what happens in FF.

Chrome is still a problem. Too bad I lost that one favorites tab I had when I relaunched Chrome.

Just restarted in FF after reboot.

Working just fine. Logged on to play a game and quickly typed in the comment box before the start of the round and the space bar is working.

Don't know why my PC can't play WGT without problems vs the other two laptops I used that work correctly.

Well onward and upward. Will be using FF right now on my PC until another bug shows up.

If anybody finds a solution to my original problem please shout out about it.

    Thanks.

As an update to this "problem"  I'm writing this in Chrome AND there is no problem at all playing or logging on with pepper disabled. Why? I don't know. Could it be for some reason when I downloaded FF correctly and used it to play WGT something happened with Chrome? Or did WGT use a "bug spray" and fix something in Chrome and not inform anybody? Could the pepper flash file have been corrupted on my PC and some how corrected itself?

Anyway I'll use Chrome and see if things remain good or if only today it's working correctly. I still have FF as my back up.

This stuff is stranger than science.

Might be a good idea to create a system restore point TF, while it's all working well, just incase it goes pear shaped.

The Chrome spacebar issue has been fixed as well so I'm half expecting to see a pink elephant when I pop out later, haha.

(To create a system restore point, click the start button, right click on computer, and select properties from the context menu. In the left pane of the properties window click system protection and then click the create button under the system protection tab, you will be presented with a dialogue box and prompted for a system restore point name).
