Country Club League - Autumn 2010 Season

  If at the end of the season not all teams have played the same number of matches or games, perhaps the league could be decided by a win/lose ratio for the games played.  That way nobody will be punished for unplayed games.

  I've added a couple of new columns onto the table for any of you who need more info if you want to debate who is the best team... FYI, I am planning on having a postseason tournament for this league as well as this round-robin. (Question to put out there: are B and C teams post-season eligible?)

  A few organisational updates:

  • Ryan333finch has volunteered to provide some help on league statistics. He'll try and get going a listing of the singles matches played in each fixture (or tie? should this be the right word for it?), and an individual leaderboard for most wins, etc. He might come to you in the next couple of weeks
  • I'm also looking for a volunteer to do a quick summary of how the league is going from time to time and try to convince WGT to put it into their news blog (approach misterWGT or WGTsky?)

     Ok Slor, in an epic battle I have managed to beat Script in our match. He is one tough TM to say the least and makes birdies everywhere LOL. We went extra holes to finish the match, Thank you Script for the enjoyable and great match sir you play well.

  did you get the final 2 results from our match against the deveations ,we won 1 and lost the other so it should be in total 6 points for us and 9 for deveations thanks

  Not sure how this works but ... Dev's vs. Rock & Roll ... Lvietri defests Lefty2004 ...

  Great meeting Dan .. a gentleman and nice player ... LVietri (Deviations) win 3 and 2.

  Slor,  

  Deviations CC have completed the match vs UKEG A and has 1 match to go for the match vs RockandRollRasta A.  My captain will forward the result details to you soonest.

  In the mean time We're STILL WAITING for the line up from UKEG B team.

  Our captain lilrob88 have posted our line up on their captain Steely63's wall dated 13th Oct.  The UKEG B captain then did not reply to our captain but instead he posted on here dated 14th Oct complaining that "the communication is not really happening with them" !!  I also noticed that on the 15th Oct you reminded mikem77 and Steely63 regarding lilrob's post in which he listed our line up for both matches vs UKEG A & B teams and unfortunately to date we still don't have a line up from the UKEG B team !

  Nice work on progress on this week's match cools. I granted UKEG B a postponement on your match as they were trying to play 3 matches that week - it will now be the week ending 5 December - see schedule (they orginally had a week off then, so that was the easiest place to put the match).

  Stay sporting cools - I know that hackles are raised from time to time, but I'm sure all will be well in the end.

  Thanks Slor.  I didn't mean to get nasty, just want people to give you a break and concentrate on playing the games and have fun that's all ! :-)
