15 member club but only 10 have played WGT at all this year. There is no way to have an active forum, fun tournaments, team competitions etc with 10 players.
I think you have 2 options- leave and find a club that has what you are looking for or try to get the membership in your club to grow. In my opinion the better option is to look elsewhere. Personally I like clubs in the 50-75 member range, enough people that you can active forums and tournaments but small enough that you can know everyone by name and have something to chat about when you play.
I have to believe your friend will understand. Club owners shouldn't take it personally if someone leaves. Some clubs are just going to be better fits. I can tell you from my own personal experience, I had one of my best and longest friends on wgt move to another club. She doesn't play that often and hasn't invested much in equipment and is still a tour pro and just couldn't compete in a club that is predominantly Legends and TMs. We still chat and play A/S regularly and she has found a club filled with similarly skilled/tiered players where she can be successful in tournaments. I'm happy for her and if i wasn't I wouldn't be much of a friend.
