its just a driver fellas not worth it atm imo lol but if u want or got it good if not oh well but kiss and make up lol

Heh, nothing to make up for. Gerald seems content to, on one hand, point out that BPB here is not indicative of how hard BPB really is but then infers his RL experience at Pinehurst plays.

This^^^^   Tell me one thing mate. The pictures that they take here are from the real courses no?

If they are..... then i might know where the trees are huh??

There is zero courses on this game that play like they do IRL. But...... the pictures on the other hand are real!!

This is a friggen video game..... give me a break. I can tell anyone about Pinehurst because i have played it.   Have you??

If not.... i think i might know a little more about the course then you huh?? Telling someone how the real course plays has not one fecking thing to do with this game.

The dogleg issue...... there is not any doglegs to cut...nor trees in play!!  Geeeeeez

I know you wish there were some.... but there isn't any....sorry mate. They take the pictures of the real Pinehurst..... will be no different than the course i played.

Sorry that it bothers you that i know the course...... just how it is. Believe it or not... i have played some of the best courses in the United States. And..... played with some of the legends of the game in Pro-ams. You see my profile pic there bud.  I played with him for six years straight in Pro-am.  How you like them apples?.....lol. Players that know me... know this...lol.

Got to play with the last Open champ of Pinehurst #2.... don't get any better than that! RIP my man.... you are sadly missed.

The course will look the exact same.... just like Beth. Just will not play the same..... but how could it...lol.

I think you're a little too full of yourself, Gerald. We'll continue this after the course comes out.

Oh, and BTW, an educated guess is just that-a guess.

Full of myself??  Lost you again mate. Did you read what i just posted??

Sorry again mate if the truth hurts.  Don't know what you would like me to say.....ooo..  i know.

Okay YJ... Pinehurst has many doglegs that you can cut with the new NIke driver. And the course is littered with trees that will jump out and grab your ball in a second.

    Good.. no??

Just was discussing Pinehurst's course and driver and you are flipping out. " I'm jumping in the middle".... give me a fecking break. You have not hit that driver either...... and you have never played Pinehurst. That i have done. You were talking about cutting doglegs and trees and whatnot. I know it upsets you... i can tell...lol. But..... sorry again... none there. Maybe if you get with WGT they might could make you some.... never know. Never hurts to ask.

Edit:   LOL   educated guess??   Negative mate........ for real!!  Would not want to wager anything on that hey??

Say for the last time... if WGT takes pictures of the real Pinehurst.... i know exactly what the course looks like.  Sorry again...  :)

BTW... Pebble looks way better on here. That course is in horrid condition most of the time. Greens are pitiful.... like putting in the front yard...lol. Must have did some serious touch up when they produced Pebble. Most players have a shite fit after paying that $500.00 green fee.... then seeing the conditions...lol.

Spyglass for the green fee... blows Pebble away.

LOL...   Hey mate if your ever down here close to Louisiana.... give me a shout.

Get the boss to hook us up...lol.  Little free airline tickets.... hehe.  We could do a little quick road trip.

Weather is fixing to get right.  Think going to finally play Sawgrass this year. Could have played it a couple times,, but never did.

Also buddies looking to play Torrey Pines this year. I'm not going to miss that one for sure. Will be playing there sometime in April i think.

We do a lot of golfing mate..... usually two or three nice trips a year. When not doing that we play all the golf courses on the gulf coast. From Texas to Florida... not much we have not played on the coast.

In the area mate..... look me up. Got some nice friends with plenty hookups... lol. Also since buddies with head pro.... we get the hookup here at the TPC of Louisiana.... not to mention English Turn.... right down the road.

Oy, that ship has sailed for me otherwise a drive half way would put us in NC and I heard there's a few good courses there.  ;-)

WGT introduced a higher lofted version of the R1 and called it a Nike

I would actually say they introduced a slightly longer version of the R11S.  The driver will carry further than the R1 with no spin and with full bs - but only slightly.  The R1 will then get you a few extra yards of rollout where the Nike just stops dead like you hit your wedge into the fairway.  There are shots where either might be preferred but overall I still think the R1 is the better choice due to the extra length typically obtained.  Whether or not there is any advantage of this club on Pinehurst remains to be seen (I can assure you I will try both).

Yesterday reached Level 100 and immediately got my hands on the Level 100 driver.

Playing alongside one of my usual playing partners comparing distances through the air and overall, the conclusion is that I'm glad I only hired it for a day.  Maybe some of you get more distance with it but after 3 comparison rounds I found the opposite was the case.

I have been using mine more for the last week and a half and it is just as long as the R1(which I also have) except into a strong headwind...and it is much easier to control on certain courses(Oakmont , STA, RSG, Cong., BPB, Oly) to cut corners, traps, and rough and seems slightly more forgiving off the tee...I only use the R1 at Kiwiah, Best of 5's, Cabo...and the lvl 94 R11 on tourny from shorter tees....

If you have the R1 you don't really need it but it doesn't hurt to have it, if I could only have 1 of them I would use the nike....if only it wasn't bright red!

Edit: you cannot use FULL b/s with a higher spin ball or there is no roll what so ever
