Just hit 210yd club, full, with full bs and a ding...marker in hole, hole 209yds up 2ft., no wind....ball lands at 195yds and sticks????? It should have been a perfect shot, and quite possible in the hole!!! What is up with this WGT??!!
I have been mulling over the notion that when/if you hit the perfect shot for your situation, and the ball goes way short, way long, way to one side or the other, that WGT does manipulate this shot....for a couple of possible reasons....
They do not want that player to hole out, cause once their VEM gets ahold of it then it will change how they can shoot.
If they let all of the perfect shots go perfectly then players will actually shoot great scores....which means less rounds and less money.
They just feel like screwing with everyones game...
All of the above is my choice. This is not the first shot that has gone like this! I have hit shots perfectly with no wind, or even with wind, but a lot of no wind...and they never go where they should...in the hole!...heck most don't even go any where near the hole. I would love to say it's the clubs...but I have hit this shot a dozen times in the last couple of hours...and never have I hit it just like it needed...and never have I had my 210yd club land at 195yds! My thing is this...if I hit a great shot and it is destined for holed shot replay status...let it be WGT!
If I shoot a horrible shot you let it go horribly...keep it all that way. I have hit countless shots, as I am sure most of you have, that should have been in the hole...only to see them go absolutely absurdly awry! I am not saying that I should make everything, but I am sure that I should have a couple of 200+ yd holed approach shots, and a bunch of others less than 200 yds. Instead I have 1 holed approach shot outside of 10ft! I am getting tired of hitting the shot, having the game pause slightly, then the shot go stupid.
I know it's not me, I know these shots aren't the clubs..not this absurd of results..., so that leave only you WGT. How about you just let US have good days and bad days. Don't "tell" us what kind of day we are having. Thanks for the vent.
I know it's a game, and your business...and business appears to be good for you all. I truly appreciate the great game and surroundings that you have provided us here. I just get a bit frustrated with these shots. Maybe it is my clubs....but I can't level up fast enough to get another decent set. Heck, I'd buy the best of everything if I was allowed...I can't get any further back on the tees... ;-). Thanks for the great game WGT, and I will, obviously, keep hitting till they start falling!
