  This could mean don't use third party putting and shot pals.  Could also affect sites that members build outside WGT, forums, friends lists, tournaments, etc. but use WGT to play the games.

  Both of these items require capturing and redirecting data from WGT.

  Does look bad for a certain entities idea for sure, and rightly so IMO as way beyond their remit.  decentralising control to that extent for this game is absurd well intended or not.  My guess it backs up more specific correspondence for that.  

  Obviously a bit of thou shalt not sniff packets thrown in as no one could stop the lawyer going off in tangents (no cheating being understood anyway), or just felt no harm in belt and braces for that certain site using a certain method.  They get paid by the hour so probably thought beef it up lol.

  Can't think how it could possibly be intentionally aimed at anything else.  

  EDIT: Upon re reading it is extremely poorly worded as far as reproduction goes.  Some one could easily take that as not being able to record for innocent reasons.  

  Either the lawyer had a bad remit or a bad day at the office.

  For the purposes of this thread a mod has come out and said what it means effectively as far as recording goes.  If I was given it by a lawyer I would tell them to go back and do that bit again it again, but that's me:)

  You do know why... huh?  I guess they were hoping whoever is doing the dirty will stop it. Because........ they can't stop anybody from doing anything.

  They have zero control of their own site. I know that must suck. 

  Bottom line that whole T&C is nothing but BS when you can not enforce the rules.

  of any kind to anything pertaining to WGT.

  Basically, whats yours is theirs, and whats theirs is theirs. Torrent sites don't have the real leaches, WGT is the leaches. What we give them are hand outs.

  So basically the only thing that we own on this site is our time wasted, and enjoyed, but maybe more the first, than the latter.

  What the TOS were and what they are now doesn't effect 98% of the members in any way IMO.

  From the T & C ;

  WGT reserves the right to stop offering and/or supporting the Site or a particular game or part of the service on the Application(s) at any time, at which point your license to use the Site and services or a part thereof will be automatically terminated. In such event, WGT shall not be required to provide refunds, benefits or other compensation to users in connection with such discontinued Site or services.

  I think the point is, WGT is getting ready to drop the ax on "da cheats"...if you play the game as intended, there's no reason to worry about new (or old) T's and C's...

   

  Hopefully WGT has a "sniffer" in the works..and credit heavy cheaters will not get their call to Chad;)

  Well we all hope so.

  The language is way too lawyer speak, and not great lawyer speak.  Clearly it is an attempt to reinforce anything to do with cheating.  Also it would render what another site is (was a least) doing with framing / transmitting through another server well and truly OOB as well.  

  I agree with all aspects of that.  cheating is bad (no shyte Sherlock I hear lol), and however well intended others policing is no solution.  No disrespect to them and benefit of doubt that all just well intended, and leaving alone whether it works or not it's a can't have.

  All good except how enforceable is all this? If the same lawyer that wrote it was giving an opinion I would be having that checked for starters, and that's just the legal side concerning that other site.  Personally I doubt that other site would be up for any fight, and as for cheaters well I doubt they would give a rats a$$.

  So far from what I have seen cheating wise WGT have a gattlin gun.  Aim that "a "ways and spray.  In fairness the lack of people coming to the forums, for being treated unfairly,  says it has had some good effect on joe average multi.  We then move to the more ardent scum, and thus far they have been as effective as a wet brown bag for holding water in sorting that one.  Fingers forever crossed, but I am not excited as it stands.

  That's all well and good, (and no surprise really) but have you ever tried to play golf from that position?

  Yup like CD pointed out... if you are clean should not need to be worried about the T&C.

  But..... like i said earlier.... is not enforceable. I would think if it was.... would have remained quite....huh?  Then caught them....no?

  Nope... we had to make a big post in the forums to let everyone know. What does that tell you? Like when you were a kid and ya mom told you not to do something. Did you do it? Then.... after you did it..... did you tell her?  lol

  As long as this game is flashed based.... unless you have third party software installed on your computer.... they can't do shite.

  It does all sound good though huh? Trying to play poker with the cheats. They don't bluff easy..lol.
