Has WGT ever looked into allowing you to belong to 2 country clubs?  I think that many of us would like to be in a country club with good players who we compete against but also have the flexibility to be in a fun country club, one with less emphasis on quality of play and more on fun.  Many of us are or have been club members in real golf of more than one club at the same time for various reasons.

I was just wondering if anyone else would be interested in this.

    Thanks.

I would be interested, but also for an additional reason.

You see a lot of solicitations for CC membership in the forums. If you're interested enough to want to check it out, you have to quit your current CC in order to join the new one just to see if it's something you'll like. It would be nice to be able to become a member of a second CC on a trial basis.

If dual membership is not possible, what about seeing their tournament listings, past and present, and maybe even their forums? It would be another way to gauge participation and activity. You can sort a CC's member list by last round played, but that's not really enough.

No thank you. I can't see any club owner wanting this. An owner puts in lots of work to keep their members happy and occupied. If people feel the need to join a second club then their original club can't be very good.

i'm in a great CC at the moment ,we have lots of comps and leagues going all the time , both free and credit .most of these i enjoy some i dont , but the people who arrange the comps have to put in all sorts of comps to try and  make sure there is something for everyone.

i would like to be able to be in 2 country clubs so i would have the oppotunity to play more of the types of comps i prefer, plus you could see the differences between the 2 CC's and maybe good ideas could be traded between them.

Courtney, good  CC owners put in a lot of work to run the clubs, in that, i totally agree with you.in real life i am a member of 2 clubs and the reason is simple , they play different comps and you play against different people who you get to know and enjoy banter with,i don't see why that can't be the same here.i don't understand why wanting to be a member of 2 clubs means the origonal 1 isn't that good...i see nothing wrong with a little variety.

Have to agree with Courtney. I think a level of loyalty is more important online than in the real world. I think a great way to mix things up is to set up CC vs. CC matches. Again, it takes a lot of time to get it together much less get everyone's matches in due to schedule conflicts, but I think its good for the members to have that sense of community. Maybe  it's just that I dig my CC the most, but I think it is a different mind set here and out there.

(Maybe it's cuz I'd never be able to afford to be in one Country Club out there, hehe)

It would be a cool option. Just because your in two clubs wouldnt mean your any less loyal. I have friends in many CC's just like everyone does here. I Would love to join the peoples club and play with all its great members in Tournies.

Mostly because Ive been in Devs for two years and never won a damn tourney. lol.

I don't win any of mine either. Even when I set them up.

Agreed as this would effectively mean players spending less time in their CC activities, whether it be tournaments, A/S and M/P comps and forums. I have only so much time available to play WGT, and could not commit to two clubs (as it is I never play in a CC due to lack of activity).

But I do understand the OP's point but I think a GOOD CC deserves 100% attention from the members.
