    I have just moved up to Tour Master an no playing on Tournament speed greens. Whilst a Master I could judge the distance on the percentage scale pretty accurately. now however I am having great difficulty judging the distance especially on downhill shots.

    Any advice will be welcome

    Basicaly 70% of the distance displayed by index.

    If hole is up add elevation, if down substract.

    For instance hole 15, elevation 5

    Flat = 10.5, up = 10.5+5; down = 10.5-5.

    To adjust for your club, balls & circumtances. This formula dont work well with very large height différences

    No 'stupid questions" here - click on my name in this post - you will see a small rectangle that says "+ Add as Friend" - that wil send a "Friend Request" to me  - when I accept we can send messages back & forth.
