It really irks me when you see half the players in a CC Comp with a WD next to the name.

I'm less rigorous. There may be reasons to WD, but entering shows interest.
I'm bothered by constant "not entered" which provokes the thought of
"not interested (at all)".

Alas, when I wave good-bye to members, it's because of overall inactivity in WGT, initial indication being the entry "last game played":

I agree Paul, I would rather players enter and try than never play at all but I like to soldier on regardless. I personally get more pleasure shooting a 70 after being 5 over after 5 than a average (for me) round hitting most fairways and greens.

And like I said, saturation soon takes away the "nasty" scores.

For those "not interested at all" players - why bother joining a CC?

I experience a lot of noobs applying for my CC. I'm reluctant if they do so on day one or two after joining WGT, but usually I'm gonna accept them, thinking that they may want to join a strictly German speaking CC - we may be the only active one open for new members.

Some of them develop well, some lose interest in the game shortly afterwards. Many of them won't even notice my farewell :o) This is the way it is.

If the club was important to you just ask the owner to reinstate you. You probably got booted because like so many others they thought you just lost interest and didn't play anymore.

Under the circumstances I'm sure your membership would be re-instated.

If i have to remove members for inactivity i always add a note to re-apply when the play more,but most of my members let me know when they will be away
