What does the 5.0 mean on the Max ball meter speed?   Is it 5 seconds for the meter to reach the ding line?

LOL, I know that Scott. Trying to get an answer on what the time frame is for the slowness of the meter

Is it for example    3.5 meter speed does the 3.5 mean 3.5 seconds for the meter to reah the ding??

It's a very simple question, don't understand why someone from WGT will not give an answer on this.

Heh, Now why in the world would you want to know something WGT is never going to give up? You developing an auto-dinger or something?  LOL

IMHO the the speed of the meter will vary ever slightly from time to time.  I think the speed rating should be taken as a general guide.  Maybe that's one of the reasons I am better some days than others? Not 100% sure, and I don't have any super analyser, but what I sense fwiw.  I think there was a thread once where some one said they had some super dooper timer, and they reckoned it varied too....Personally I am fine with it varying (assuming it really does), but that RPM gets me nearly every time, when it happens, for sure:)  In fairness not had much of that RPM for a while.

AS YJ said though it's one they will keep behind the curtain - assuming they have control over the minor variations anyway if they exist...

Also at the price they charge for balls would be only fair to let you know what your getting for the money.

Not just telling you a number. Once again like telling a customer , I will build this piece for you and not telling him what you are going to use to build it. He's expecting Cherry you give him Popular

WOW just noticed, my quotes started working properly

So, if you use a ball with a speed of say.....2.5.....and hit it with a club with a speed of.....2.5.....(2.5 + 2.5 = 5.0) would the resultant meter speed be the same as hitting a ball with a speed of.....1.0.....and a club with a speed of.....4.0.....(1.0 + 4.0 = 5.0)?

Without question and not like the stumbles and stalls that many complain about. Just subtle hesitations or speed ups that you have to be on your toes to catch or let go. I believe it's that way on purpose to combat auto dingers which is also why smart missing the ding works so well.
