I'm on the fringe chipping. It's 9 feet to the pin 6 in. up. The wind is blowing 18 mph in my face. I choose my 60 degree wedge in chip mode which gives me a distance of 10 feet. I make the chip at about 95% power and the ball goes 14 feet. How are you supposed to make a good shot when this happens, and it happens a lot on other shots and distances.
Appreciate any input. Thanks.
Fringe shots always go further than you think. Unless your putting, then you need a little more power... When using a wedge... It's like hitting off glass and the ball will go that little bit extra
