WGTicon: It's unclear what they are as it could be their routing or DDoS attack or several other things, so hopefully they it will resolve itself.
Well a DDoS attack would explain a lot of things. However, your provider would be able to confirm this, and should be taking the necessary steps to alleviate. However, it depends on who is doing the attacking from where.....
Seeing as WGT is on shared infrastructure, I guess you could ask your provider if other users on the same VLAN are experiencing the same issue. Do you manage your own servers, or do you rely on the provider to do this (expect the latter seeing as most re virtual servers these days).
FWIW - I have just played a round this evening, and it played flawlessly. The website is still slow, but the game itself was fine. It was actually a pleasure - mind you, got close but not close enough to my perfect round. 7 birds, but then fluffed up the last 2 holes .... sigh, still work to do :)
