VERY SLOW LOADING!

    Has this been occurring since Saturday?

    Friday just about the time WGT closed up shop for the weekend.

    Is it consistent on every course and hole?

    No.

    WGTadmin:
    Does it also occur when combing the Forums or searching player profiles?

    This is where it's the worst.

    For me it's been very bad since about... ... Hmm, Saturday is probably right.  I find I can play solo rounds pretty much normally, I use Maxthon 3 for that and for nothing else.  The home page is the game client, I just open the browser and go.  It is taking a bit longer than I'm used to for the main screen to load but actually playing is fine.

    However, doing anything else in the game is very slow.  By anything else I mean browsing the forums, watching videos, checking out leaderboards etc.  I use Firefox for this but I really don't think it has anything to do with the browser as every other web site I go to is loading fine.

    I hope you guys can sort it because it's really getting annoying.

    Perhaps it should be in the contract of all WGT staff that they have to play the game each day. People were complaining on Friday and Mr Admin is asking questions on Tuesday.

    Really?  4 days later? Anyway, since Friday night it happens in starting games, maneuvering around any part of the site and occasionally it freezes for a minute during play in the middle of a back swing.  There are plenty of people telling you in this thread and in other threads about it.  It is hit or miss.  Click on the forum button for instance and it might load in 10 seconds or 2 minutes or switch to some down for maintenance message.  Click again and the opposite might happen, a quick load.  Many times you will get the down for maintenance page for a few minutes when clicking on players, forums or tournaments.  You can't get to anything.  Other oddities is like when I couldn't get to bracket games; it would only load the page half way. 

    It's hard to determine when or why it happens.  Using firefox or chrome - no difference.  It says waiting for WGT.com...  OR transferring data from psj-gs01.wgt.com when it happens in the bottom bar on firefox.  It just spins up top.  Overall once you can actually get a game started, it isn't too bad.

    Not only that, the right hand apparently doesn't know what the left hand is doing because Icon acknowledged the problem Sunday in this very thread.

    Really? You're in here asking players for details? Un-fuckin-believable!

    @COURTENEYFISH, COMMONGUYMD, and others;

    Icon posted a message on Sunday and we believed that the matter was resolved. The Customer Support agents were not receiving as many emails since the afternoon on Saturday actually. We thought the issue was complete and site performance was back to normal. 

    I apologize for not being as diligent in responding to this thread since others were still reporting slow loading. I do want to thank you all for providing more information, especially the fact that the loading is worse on the Forums and viewing tournaments and occurs using different browsers. I will be sure to forward the team these comments to help with a solution.

    Seems he figured it would just resolve itself and let it go.
