Look at the stated yardage in the upper Right corner then look at the "aiming triangle".??

If you look at the yardage in the bunker to the left, it is the same as the one on the upper right.

So WGT....Which is the real yardage?

Is it not that number top right refers to original pin locations and not the later additions?

(pic only visible after my post)

    Two questions:

    a) (supporting YJ) which hole are you referring to?

ba) There is no second set of tees available for OLY, is it?

    b) which numbers? (illegible)

    c) pin distance is(?) (illegible)

triangle marker reads 296, upper right 288.

Normally would have said it was do to the upper right marking yardage as a dog leg or something of that nature. So it would be yardage out to fairway and then to tee, but in that case the upper right hand yardage should read longer then the triangle aiming cursor, not shorter.

Could be something to do with other pins, although Aloss is right, there are no second set  of pins for Oly, but I am willing to bet when they shot the course they shot two sets of pins, so that yardage could be to the other pin that they have yet to put out.  That is all speculation though.

Yes - Js - you are correct  - I would guess that the info in the "aiming" rectangle was correct - 296 yards.  Unfortunately, I let this issue distract me & posed the question before I hit the ball (i.e. whole shot lost due to computer lock-up - caused by operator's 'head lock-up').

Maybe, Paul was right - it's a carry-over from a previous pin location - but - who knows? Due to my ignorance as to how to attach a jpeg into these posts, I doubt that any of the "Icons are following this thread.

I would like to know as this may 'crop up' in a match for $.

Quite simply, it's 288yds to the middle of the green, 296yds to the pin.

All par 4's (apart from doglegs) are measured this way here.
