Here's an idea folks ... those of you who are using the approach calculator and religiously tweaking your wind settings ... how about posting your findings to a forum post ... call it "Today's wind report" ... just be sure you mention your equipment, as wind settings vary a bit depending on your equipment.

    Hi Dave,

We pretty much have the same equipment, with the exception to the wedges, putter and golf ball used.

I haven't played (yet) today, but I did hear the winds were blowing a bit stronger.  Now with that said, 100% of headwind and tailwind is excessive.  During the testing phase of the calculator, the highest I ever saw the wind power get was 71% headwind and 40% tailwind power.  Strongest crosswinds were 2.4 feet.

Earlier in this thread I talked about how to adjust for winds.  Start with the defaults (50/50 and 1 foot), then adjust accordingly.  If you have headwinds or tailwinds (30 minutes or 0 minutes) and you're hitting for 100 yards, each yard short is 10% on a dinged shot, and a 10% reduction on a long shot.

    Hope that helps.

    Hi everyone ...

Okay, I've just posted the latest update to the link which takes care of the following issues:

    1. Optional Overlays - Horizontal and Vertical sizing issue
    2. Vertical Sizing scrollbar ... clicking the up arrow on the scrollbar reduced the overlay's size.  Clicking the down arrow increased it.
    3. When reducing a framed overlays vertical size, you could not take the image to the bottom of the screen.
    4. Lock/Unlock button not removing the frame until the overlay was moved.
    5. After clicking lock and moving the image, the overlay's size would revert to 50% of the overlay's original size.
    6. Default image size, set to 100%.
    7. Error when clicking cancel when loading an overlay caused the program to crash.

Please download and install version 2.0.0.8 to correct the above mentioned issues.

As always, if you run into any issues with the program, please drop me a line and let me know!

    Kat ♥
