If Djokovic wins hist first round match at Wimbledon in 5 sets and everyone wins their games in 3 sets, it makes no difference, they all advance to the next round.

Just beat the opponent in front of you, is all u have to do.

    KellyGreer:

When the 2 best rounds both do not advance to the 2nd round it's ridiculous as far as I'm concerned.   I understand what you are saying BUT advancing three lower scores and not advancing both of the top two scores makes ZERO sense.

If you have 24hrs to play, then when playing 9 or 18 you should be able to quit in the middle of the round, and come back to finsh?  Every time I comeback to finish my round I get and error message that says "unexpected error please try again later" this needs to get fixed if playing for credits.  Was in the semifinal and could not play and I cannot play another game unless I forfeit.  This happens over and over and needless to say I had to forfeit

That is just not cricket, wait...tennis....wait GOLF.

Kelly the draw is RANDOM, there are no seedings so it is quite possible to get the best two players drawn against each other first round. That is the beauty of it and gives the lessor players a chance of progressing.

As I said earlier I lost to the lowest scoring player out of the 16, and I was 2nd lowest - no gripes, that is matchplay.

The same can be said in other forms of golf like stableford or par comps, the lowest scorer does not always win (where a blowout hole may not affect your score as much in stableford as carding a 10 does in stroke).

It is the nature of the beast, if you can't accept that, do not play.

Now I am not saying you are incorrect as you have got your information from somewhere, but that conflicts the FAQ Brackets section.

[sigh] Brother Al, erm, we quoted the same thing!! That's where I got my info from.  LOL

I just simplified the explanation a bit.  ;-)

think this bracket idea a joke guys

why wont it let u play ur round i have 20 hrs to play a final, which by chance is against a cc friend, i tee off hit a ding and this came up

4  more times same thing happened, now only way to get out of it is to forfeit my game

i didnt save and quit i just logged on went to bracket page and clicked tee off, went to take my shot, and it happened

so think wgt need to put this back in their little box of tricks, cause it dont work,

had lots of complaints in our CC about getting kicked when they had lots of time to play

has anybody actually finished a bracket tourney

^^^^^^^^^^^^^THIS hope they fix it, happened a few times to me also (see above) you think your going to tee off then it boots you and you get the message over, and over, and over until you forfeit

Just started final round on RSG , played the first 3 holes then got the "unexpected error" message over and over , no choice but to forfeit , waste of my time playing the earlier rounds .

    Sir Don,

I'm entered in 5 comps, still in all, semi in one, just one issue so far but, allowed me to resume from the correct place. I think it will be a good addition when they get the bugs sorted out. Looking forward to the day when they have, 4096 bracket comps, and my money is on you.

    Cheers

    Phil
