this idea was suggested numerous times before,
and as you can see, nobody @ wgt gives a fck...

Oh well, that'll be that then...... appreciate you taking the time to reply.

What do you yourself think, good/bad idea?

it's an excellent idea, and I truly hope that
maybe this time those "geniuses" up there
actually make something of it, instead of coming up
with stupid things like changing the putting grid balls size,
claiming it was widely asked for, even thought it wasn't, and then change it back.

What would be nice is an option to delete balls you don't want. i.e the freebies that are of no use, and just clutter up the bag. all I want is the ball of MY choice. instead of standing on the Tee and driving all the odd balls into out of bounds, or is that to simple !!!!!

    Your logic is seriously flawed.

Not all suggestions warrant implementation by WGT. That does not mean WGT doesn't give 'a fck'.

WGT recently implemented an often suggested feature - crowd noise - in the form of clapping when a player makes a birdie, and lots of people complained because they did so.

WGT gets blasted if they do implement suggestions, and they get blasted if they don't.

Y'all can't have it both ways.

    Sure we can.

An "off" switch for the idiot applause.

Now that, I really like, but would go one better. A "trashcan" drop on the equipment setup screen. That way, I could dump all those EZSwing clubs that are cluttering my garage. :^)

    ---------------

Johnny's original idea would certainly make life easier, and isn't some useless thing being foisted upon us.

Anyone else ever wondered where that golfer is while you are standing on the teebox of #1 StA? You know the guy. He smacks his hybrid every minute or so. What hole is he going for, and how did he end up where he is?

How very dare you folk ask for something that's been asked for before! :)

Al, I'd seen your own excellent compilation of ideas/suggestions to help improve this game for ALL.

Thought maybe something was wrong with the thread as the last I looked the same message was repeated numerous times................ have to ask - did you ever get that pony? LOL

LOL sorry Johnny - I had not seen this!

Yes it is incredibly rude and remiss of me to suggest that this MAY have been asked for before. :)

After that tenner you slipped me, I have absolutely no knowledge of this being requested before. I will yet make an honest politician!

And I do not take ownership of that thread you mention - it was a compilation of requests I had seen over the years - but as WGT reneged to comment, I have just let it run without updates - maybe one day. Many items  IMHO were never going to fly, nor should have they.

Hmmm as for that Pony, I do believe the driver was a Ms C Fish, and I put it on in the hope, if successful could possibly make a baby ..............................................pony of course.

As for YOUR idea, yes deserves a bump, a comment, an implementation - it is a great idea and would benefit us all.

    Hmmm as for that Pony,

Just gotta keep asking, that's what I did for the yelloways. ;-)

I am currently waiting on a response from Nike regarding an email I sent them inquiring about yellow 20xi's.  Mainly if they are available in real life, but I also brought up the possibility for here at WGT...  Just had to. ;-)

I'd still play the yellow Callaways mostly, but for those days I feel like "drinking the Nike ball kool-aid" I would love to do so with yellow ones.

Boom, just found this while surfing the inter-webs.  :)

    WigerToods2010:

Think we've all started a round - usually a single play in my case -  only to discover the ball in our bag is just about 'dead'.

A lot of times I personally use the freebies or maybe a ball that I've been gifted but wouldn't normally purchase - to this end I'm wondering if it would be possible for WGT to display the life left on those solo balls in our equipment bag?

Something along the lines of the image below would be ideal I think and should be relatively easy for those awesome WGT tech gurus to put into place.

Appreciate a reply, Messrs Icon & Co.

    Cheers,

    Johnny.

    From opening post ^^^

Only now noticing that you (WGT) have indeed implemented the above - albeit almost a year and a half later -  and those naysayers said it would NEVER happen.

    Well done chaps.

    Now, about THOSE flags...........

    :O)
