I've just played a matchplay game against a player that joined in December 2013, she is at Level 84, LEGEND Status with an average score of 60.36.

Driving and GIR stats in the 98-99% range with a best drive of 339 yards and a best putt of 19 feet.

I'm a Level 81 Master, who joined in June 2013 with an average score of 66.00.

After the match I checked her stats, she has a best score of 30 for 9 holes and a best score of 180 for a round of 18 holes.

Checking the courses stats she has not completed one 18 hole round on any course.

Recently I've beaten  number of Tour Masters and Legends in Matchplay and yet my score remains anchored on 66.

This is not sour grapes, I won the match 4 and 3.

In stroke play games I average about 33 to 35 for 9 holes and about 72 for 18 holes and I'm the first to admit that my score has come down to 66 through matchplay success against higher ranked players, however I come back to......How can a score of 60.36 be obtained in these circumstances ?

    Totally confused.

    Robert

'Normally' (we will never be told) that should drop your average but not if in practice mode.

You would be far better getting your average down the 'correct' way, grinding out scores in strokeplay. This is far better preparation for what lies ahead.

I see you are a level 81 master yet still use a hybrid and 2 starter wedges? Your g.i.r. and recovery %'s show that what you're doing isn't working. Dump the hybrid get 3 evenly spaced wedges and watch your average drop like a stone.

10 ranked rounds and 100% scrambling. Wouldn't get into my CC.
