At work but not at home?????

  I was wondering when I play at work hooked up to a T1 line, the game works fine.  When I go home and sit in my chair with my laptop and play the game through my DSL wireless modem, the game is very hard to play because the graphics keep stopping and starting.  I thought DSL was faster than a T1 line??  What can I try so I can play at home??  When I am at home I am using a verizon wireless router to connect my laptop.

  Although DSL may be faster that T1  the fact that you are playing wireless is what is causing the slowness.

  if you are using standard wireless it will max out at 54mbs.

  try connecting your laptop to your router with a lan/network  cable and that should fix your issue.
