how do i make my golfer left handed

  Unfortunately, there's no option to make our avatar player left handed. We're all righties whether we want to be or not.

  I always thought that explanation was a smokescreen Jim.  There are built in Flash functions to mirror objects easily.  Avatars, clubs, stencils, whatever can all be easily mirrored in Flash Action Script.
