I believe that the longer I stick with the original equipment, the fewer putts fall in the hole, the more fairways I miss and the most minor miss hit winds up in a hazard.  Is this true?  Please respond.  Thanx!

    DD,

Supposedly not according to WGT who has responded to similar question in the past with reassurances that the equipment does not degrade over time (other than the balls), and the shot variance does not change over time.

The shot deviation algorithm  is most likely one contributing factor, as it is designed to give random results within a pre-defined 'zone' based on your shot setup, course conditions, and meter strike.

I know it seems like it at times, but the important thing to understand is that equipment upgrades reduce these variances and make the game more consistent. By design, of course.
