Virtual 2014 US Open Qualifying has begun.

  managed a 54 with 2 damn pars in the last 4 holes, had a couple of restarts so not 1st go this time

  I'm quite enjoying the way you guys are talking...actually bloody Jealous at the scores...lol, but don't stop talking.... I'm really enjoying reading it.

  I know the Shoe's Super Champ speed...    I think he has mentioned that there will be no Super Speed in the Open.....   For a Spanner... How does Slow/Standard green speed sound.  We are all used to Champs... a little faster might not hurt....   very, very slow greens might.

  been thinkin this myself for a while now..I can see it happenin!

  why else would they have the Q's as champs..not sure if they had this before in previous Q's

  To be brutally honest, when i play rounds on SLOW greens i score a few more pars or bogeys.  The slower greens seem much tougher than champ greens.  You think you've hit the putt with more than enough power but they still come up short

  I agree.....  I can't get my brain to think to actually Slam the ball and when I do...still comes up short...lol

  What do you think the cut will be? I just shot 57 and felt like I ran three marathons lol.
