Interesting putt?

  My first time posting in here about bugs or complaints, and I've been playing this game for years.  -3 through 3 holes on PInehurst qualifying.  Tailwind and I set myself up for a rare birdie putt on #4.  I'm watching it roll and have no doubts it is going on the hole for a birdie.....

  Explanation please?

   

  I'm baffled on this one. If you watch the replay from behind the hole, you see the vapor trail go right over the hole.  Even if it was "too fast" (not likely), hitting the cup that directly would have at least bounced off the lip or something.  C'mon WGT

  Well can't wait to here the cheerleaders on this one. Clearly that was in the hole. 

  No pin clank, not even any path deviation. Total BS!

  Gonna say, 'well visually what you see isn't always what's going on.'.

  Really? For a game that is supposedly GPS/GEO and laser mapped to 2"? 

  Laughable! You got screwed by a game that isn't nearly as accurate or designed the way it is marketed and presented to the public. 

  Show us your coord pinning plots WGT? No? Didn't think so. ..i.,

  It rolled just barely over the lip on the far side of the hole......zoom it in & look.....great touch--good putt & read but it DID miss on the far side of the hole by a pixel or two

  To see it best you need to stay on camera #1.  If auto is used it still looks to roll over hole to me.

  Although camera 2 looks very questionable , I think it rode the far lip.  Very nice read from there though.

  thanks for the zoomed shots guys.  Even more confirmation of what I saw.  AT THE VERY LEAST it should have taken a hard bite on the lip.  Ball didn't even flicker as it rolled over the hole.

  Therein lies the biggest issue with putting. If you're gonna make it per pixel accurate then tighten up the bloody putting grid so that it reads the breaks better.

  Better yet allow us to swing the  perspective  around so we can see rolls and the break from different angles at ground level.

  very interesting observation and it makes sense, but the ball on the replay still appears to go right over there hole.

   

  good note about the vapor trails though, thanks!
