Excellent and very simple idea and solution. I might stretch it to 4 hours just for the sake that players enter a tournament sometimes, and then have something come up they must attend to. At least they would have a shot at finishing still. Honestly though, who in their right mind, is going to sign up for a tier-less RG at St Ann's? That thing was up for over a week before it had 10 entries.
And now, and very unfortunately, the good idea of having RG's for different tiers has gone to hell because the alt accounts are putting up TL scores in TM tier tournament's. So, after playing my butt off to get good enough to compete and actually win a few credits in RG's, that has been taken away from me and many others as well.
It is truly a shame when WGT knows this is going on, yet doesn't have the brain power to come up with a way to identify, continue to re-identify, and ban these people every single time they come across them.
I just left a post in a new thread named 'new cheating' where I posted the top 20 scores of a TM RG I played in last week. I would appreciate any to have a look at the scores and give their input on whether the scores look like they were shot by TM's or TL's.
