If anyone enjoys doing music quizzes here is one I posted for sporcle a while back. There are 50 song clips from the 70's - some top hits, some not as popular. If you're a 70's fan see how many song titles and artists you can figure out.

If you choose to click on the link below just remember, it's 5 minutes you'll never get back, but might bring back some great memories!

That's how I listen to music.  My era.  know the songs well.  Hear a snippet and I can play the entire song in my head in seconds.  zzzooomm.

Not my generation but I do love the music of the 70's. Not sure I know enough to get a lot of the artists but I recognize a bunch of the songs. Great bunch of clips.

Are we supposed to list our guesses?

...might bring back some great memories!

As a "hippie" growing up in the mid to late '60's, I watched "American Bandstand", "The Ed Sullivan Show", and others.  My early '70's time was spent making a living and remember listening to music mostly during my commute.  I only recognized several of yours.

BTW...don't know if it's my comp. system or something else, but WGT background music was also playing with yours at the same time.  Made for a difficult to appreciate your effort.

I was born in 1952, by the time the 70's music hit I was in the serious listening mood. That was my party days, I was in the Air Force but could have fun when not working. Great Stuff.

If you want to start filling in guesses help yourselves. I can put a list in the original post with artist and song and keep updating until it's filled in. Who knows, I may feel generous and send a little something to whoever fills in the last song remaining.
