There should be some sort of handicap on WGT, Im TL and no where near good enough to compete with other TL's

There are an elite group of players on here who win most things its not really fair on the other paying members who cannot compete with the elite on here. Why should it be that only the best can play in an open? Everyone pays money to play WGT so surely everyone is entitled to play every game. Im not suggesting that hacks at level 99 with the best gear play in an open on front tees. However if a hack with a level of 99 shoots a round of -20 then the authority should automatically be pulling those guys, imo disq the player or make them TL rather than up them one tier.

There is no solution really as its an online game open to alsorts, however I do not agree that only the elite can play games when everyone is paying into the pot, so to speak. I also think that any legend or TL is entitled to any equipment that is in the pro shop if his level is 70 or 21. I cannot compete with other TL's ive only ever beaten 1! (in MP)

I don't like the idea of a new tier. Two years ago, the top tier was Legend... people started to request a new Tier.... and there it is... Tour Legend... There will always be better players and If they make a new tier, like Tour Professional or Tour whatever, after some time you will see the same players there and others trying to reach it only to claim after a while that they cannot longer compete and that we need another tier with averages in the 40's so they can be accommodated in a less demanding tier. Some just bring it upon themselves by playing only "easy" courses and unlimited tournaments and posting only good scores.

I can shoot a 100 now and my average doesn't move up... It comes only down with every good score or stays the same... it's saturated. That per se is stupid but I don't make the rules. So after TOUR PROFESSIONAL we will need a TOUR GALACTIC and we will need to send the best players to another constellation... Stop it...Take your tier as a prize and if you can't compete and win, or you don't belong in the group you actually brought it upon you. There will always be a Tiger Woods, Arnold Palmer, Nicklaus... and us real mortals who can't compete in the REAL LIFE big tournaments...

This is where I think WGT went wrong. I said from the beginning the cut line to be TL should have been set at 57 not 60. We win Crystal(or something) Course awards for scores of 57 or lower on 18 hole courses. IMO... that's where the Tour Legend Tier should have been set. If that had been done, there'd be no need for another Tier. Having Legend at 61 then Tour Legend at 60 is much too close.

It all went wrong when it got related to average on it's own or at least is starting to look old now IMHO. If they ever did create another tier it should be aimed at people who have shot 57 or under on all courses or (or at least 90% of them as it's a fun thing so forcing some one to every course I am not sure about but.....thinking on that one lol). Ok a bit more thought may be needed there but having anything just on average when an average can be made up wearing the grass out on Beth F9 leads to meaningless titles anyway. Also with the way TL RGs only fill up it really would be something to aim at only, but nothing wrong with that either.

Saying make the average 54 is not a good thing IMO because of that Beth F9 issue for one. Also because of the way averages work here after saturation anyway averages are for the most part meaningless.

Can't have a handicap in an open sadly. Would be nice to have more tiered things, but round here the nature of that beast just means multis win.

Agree on the equipment that it should be opened up for all TLs as TL should be special in theory. I have banged that drum forlornly for a while, and still say it even though I have long since got all I "wanted".

On that last point though once you are L90 the difference is not the equipment. OK I do think the pro shop is out of balance yet again with 287 yard drivers coming on stream too late, but that's really the lazy pro missing the point again as they really do not make a rat's when it comes to stats, and therefore any given round. Look don't get me wrong a nice to have but honestly the times it will make a difference is beyond minimal.

It's like that IRL as well for the US Open, but WGT actually allow all player to try and qualify.

IRL, my HC would not allow me to even play the qualifiers for a chance to enter.

I'm not comparing RL vs WGT scoring...I'm just comparing what it takes (top scores in RL and here, regardless of the actual number) to qualify to play.

Heck, I think my best 18 here was a 54, many a time I shot that on 9 holes at my local muni;)

I guess it would be a change in pace to have 4 18 hole round, all single play, and the first two as qualifiers, but we know that will never happen-and we all know why $$$.

Here's a possible reason you're not competing with other TL's:

How the heck were you promoted to TL without completing the 500 rounds minimum at Legend tier? The players who win everything have way more experience than you and I combined times 10. That's why they're way better and we're not going to be competing in the VUSO. I also don't think a "solution" is needed as there's no problem to solve. Some people are better. That's life.
