Maybe so as opposed to what scores will be to the actual US Open, but all the score shows is the ability to play an on-line golf game.
To put it into context the winner of the first VUS Open shot a 66 to win (by memory and I could be wrong). But the equipment to ALL players back then was poor. Now the best, even average clubs and balls leave the top of the line G10s for dead. Not many players broke par that year- so scoring is totally irrelevant - it is only a comparison of scores against your peers.
Can I shoot a 57? Nope, simply because I do not put the time and effort into the game to learn it.
As for the OP, you have been here for a while and stagnated although your clubs are fine for your level (well wedges and putter could do with a rethink) so perhaps you should really put the effort into improving rather than showing a jealous streak.
Scrabble could be a viable alternative?
