why cant we just get another ball from our bag. if we have some when we lose the last one even if there different balls.

Because there can only be 1 kind of ball in your bag, the ball you put in the little window at the top right of the equipment page.

Those other balls in your inventory - are not in your bag. Think of them as being at home in your garage instead of them being with you on the golf course.

There is also precedent in the Rules of Golf , Appendix I - Local Rules; Conditions of the Competition, Part C, 1., c., Limitation on Balls Used During Round: "One Ball" Condition.

apex what about social games do you ever play social golf ..

if ya aint got a ball you get one out of your bag or your mate gives you one.

for comps I understand .

ill post a pic of my rules of golf from the royal st Andrews golf association it is about 100 years old and some of my collection of vintage clubs .. many I in fact still use ..

had to laugh mate gave the game away and gave me his set of clubs when I beat him with a full set of wooden shafted clubs .

not having a go but we mainly here for fun many take it far to serious and quit games to protect their scores .. legends inc,,, really sucks for the other person especially when they just bail out not forfeit . often ruining the game for the other person

WGT is online golf, so it's not the same as being on a real course with your buddies.

But, yes - I played social golf and you know what - I never, not once ran out of golf balls during a social round.

Yes but I bet most of the balls in your balls in your bag are different. When I play a social O may start with a Nike but if I lose it I open my bag and take out another ball, more often than not a different make so why can't we just go to our inventory and gey another type ball if we run out of the ones we have been using.

I agree that tournament play should only allow 1 ball type and what you tee off with should be used to complete the round but social play is just that....social and for fun.

I can even stomach not being able to replace a lost ball but if I am playing a fun round why can't i replace a ball that gets removed due to it having worn out. I have quite a few balls that are near the end of their life but I can't use them as I know that half way round I won't be able to replace them when their use expires.

If it is such an issue and your balls in your inventory are deemed to be "At home" then why don't WGT add a facility where if you buy of their bag you can place 5 or 10 balls that you can replace porn out balls with.

Because it would cost them money! WGT is a business, their main income stream from us players is ball usage. Invoking the one ball rule even for 'social golf' means you don't use those odd balls and have to buy more. That's more profit.
