  Congratulations on the new ball, 5% improvement (being generous there).  30% price increase.  Nice.

  Instead of unashamedly moving the goal posts on your most loyal customers and then charging them more for the priviledge of being only slightly less worse off than before the early Sept changes, can I make a suggestion?

  A sale. 

  Half price on Legend balls for a week. 

  Call it a show of good faith towards the people on which your brand has been built.  I am being careful not to say profits, but certainly your brand.

  Correction...new balls may hit 5% further, however in terms of clubs hit to holes, the difference is negligible.

  eg

  BPB

  10, 2mph cross wind still taking hybrid that won't stop

  11, still a 7 iron to green

  12, can carry bunker downwind, could before, still a hybrid left (being generous, may carry it into a slight headwind)

  13, still unreachable in 2

  14 still a 6 iron when flag at back

  15, no change

  16, still a 3 iron

  17, still a 3 iron

  18, still a wedge to the front pin

  So, in summary, based on BPB back nine, the legend balls make little difference...IMHO
