multiple CC owners?

  We are planning on investing in a lot of new features for CC clubs and the owners.  I am not sure what all the details are, but having officers help the owners is on the table.  Please do not get disappointed if all the features do not come out at the same time,  We are still a small company and have limited resources.

  On a different note - sad to see this topic being hi-jacked for something unrelated to CC issues...

  I understand the frustration but could we please keep to the topic in hand?

  Ok, what happened to the iniative started by WGTdbloeshoe to set up a group of club owners to give advice. The thread is marked "Country Club Owners" and is on this section of the forum on this page? We all want this game to be as good as it can be but it seems what's important to WGT today, is forgotten tomorrow.

  Why would you want to cancel tourneys?  If a bracket tourney doesn't fill up in one week or so, I guess that option could be made available, but other than that, I'm not sure I would want WGT spending their limited resources on something like that. And I've never understood emailing either.  If something needs to be known, then post it to the club forum.  At that point it's up to club members to read the post.

  Just my opinion.  :-)

  Our CC has a Tournament Director and a Putting Coach, and I the owner offer tips on Course Manangement. Anyone who's has ever owned a larger ( 50 + ) CC will tell you there are times we need a break from the game too. If I'm gone for whatever reason my TD takes over. It would be nice to have a simple check box to designate who's in charge of the CC at any given time. This box Located on our CC Home Page so everyone could see it easily. xx

  Apologies Dougie I know this is an old post.

   

  The reason fo cancelling a tourney is if the creator of the tourney screws up.

  There's no way to back it out - it has to stay on the list and run its course.

  Dougie missed my point. We had a bracket tournament set up by a member that was just for Tour Pros. We didn't have enough Tour Pros to fill it so it sat there hogging a spot for months. We can now cancel brackets but it would be nice to cancel any tourny as you might get duplicates or unpopular ones that could be replaced.

  Hmmm...you as in WGT are investing in the CC's...sorry but I have been running a cc for 2 years and was in another for the other 2years......speaking on my own behalf....i think the cc owners have earned the right over time  to have  simple luxuries, how long has the co owners request been around ..and now we have to earn the right to be entitled to have 2 club officers(with experience points).

  Personally i think its rude and your a bunch of penny pinching so and so's

  but its just my own opinion.
