LOL. Mine ain't that hot either. You have 1000s of rounds in and are a TL and you can't fake that. I doubt you only save 47% of your sand shots these days. Hell, you're probably not even in them that often like we all used to be. I just have a problem with players that put this game under an electron microscope and then cry foul because it isn't exactly like it is when they're on a real golf course.

That punch shot is a good example. The shot may not render like a true punch does but the results when you use it are quite realistic. It's like the draw/fade function that isn't here but can be done by missing the ding. The shot doesn't look like a draw or fade but the end result does.

IRL, perhaps it varies. Most all of mine IRL, not counting those out of garbage, are low, crip and stop on a dime unless I use soft, loose hands. To me the punch shot here has two faces.

Which is the way it is here from fairway, it just doesn't render the arc properly.  What's the other face?

Yeah it's a funny stat, gotta go in it to better it and we get better at not going in it.

As for separate points and YJs electron microscope analogy.  It's a very good video game sim, best just to take the game for what it is and learn this game.

I will raise the analogy of owning dogs.  People make the mistake of treating them like humans and wondering why they can be naughty.  They are dogs that have enough passing similarity that we gain a great affinity to them.  Just play the game and enjoy it for what it is.

    My dogs.

White one is Jimmy (childs pet is what he is best and happiest at), and Ralphy (kids named him) is his uncle.  Ralphy is one supreme athlete and fine retrieving dog:)

Did I go off topic, lol.

Fear not, Jim, those 2 are worth admiring. Ralphy looks like my dear, departed Mishka who I had to put down for old age. Say what you will about personifying animals, they're family. Good looking hounds there.  ;-)

any chance we could get a nike 3iron with 3.5 meter or something with a similar ball flight that we could add to our golf bag instead of a 3wood, it would be really useful for playing the links courses when playing for position on uneven lies.
