Well I deserve that and fair enough that we need to fix the basics. But the putter scale increment question was brought up in a different thread and I want to know what you want.

Are these distraction exercises? I couldn't get an alt-shot game to go as far as far as the first green yesterday. If I had got there I'd have been happy to use a brick and a tennis racquet.

There are basics that need to be fixed, and the guy has acknowledged that.

We wanted communication though, and I say give this new "glasnost" a chance.

Everyone knows that a new putter scale won't be any substitute for fixing basics, Leave WGT to allocate resource, and I can't believe they would allocate anything that takes away from fixing basics for a putter scale.

This "glasnost" though will fall down if there is not ongoing reports from WGT I will say that.  OK no one expects every idea to be commented on but a list of this is what was gleaned as the top whatever, and will let you know in X amount of time would be wondrous, I would say that.

If this stuff just goes in to a black hole  it will fail.  This was the problem in the past and shows how little attention was paid to the product suggestion list thread.  Not a personal attack on anyone but WGT must accept, whatever the cause, the result  was a time waste, and that should not happen again, but I think give it a real chance now.

Anyway back to Hpureys yellow balls.  Oh sorry putter scales:) More the merrier IMO.  If there was a problem with the 10 foot scale on the Nike it was not the 10 foot scale, it was the fact that it was dead, and you needed to ram.  I never got the reason for that and some liked Nikes and some never ..............I don't see putter scales as a real issue personally.

EDIT: If I had to choose one, from any current line up, the L70 / L96 Versa scale all day.  Maybe that's because I am concerned about the 10 foot scale on the Nike being dead though.

I presume there will be a new putter coming out soon.

Maybe Wgt has 2 putters with different increments, but can only have one putter to go into Pro Shop.    lol.  Just a theory

15....30.....60.....100 etc is a good range.    but how about, 15...30...60...80...100

I think all scales should be available to all putters.  You then just get to set up 6 different scales that you prefer you use.  These, like balls, then cannot be changed mid round.

I agree. The Max Master scale at 10, 20, 30, 40, 60, 80, 100, 200 and 300 feet is the most comprehensive scale, yet is not an option for the top level putters because so many top players have become used to the 15ft scale as they have progressed through WGT and so have demanded the 15ft scale instead.

If at least this Max scale and the 15ft scale were available for every top level putter, WGT would be doubling their product range without actually having to create any more real product. It would seem a no-brainer to me for WGT - extra sales and better options for players with minimal effort. For example, I would buy the L96 Versa in a heartbeat if it had the Max Master scale.

    Maybe for a top-level putter 10 20 30 40 50 (then maybe 70 100 150 300?)

The truth is, playing the Ghost Spider at 15 25 50 100 etc. judging the distance is excellent. I miss because the aim or ding is a bit off, but usually end up pin-high. I judge the distance as if it were an absolute scale, without thinking about avatar movements or anything like that, and it works out great distance-wise.

I agree with PTrenter and fmagnets.

I liked the 20 30 40 etc scale but switched to versa because of the stats.

Putter meter scale increments - what do you want?

    WGTadmin2:

    Enquiring minds what to know

I have no issues with the scale options for the putter I have now.

What would really be nice is a way to disable the auto caddy.
